Simplify

Problem:
Simplify: $ \frac{x^2 + 2xy + y^2}{x+y} \cdot \frac{x - y}{4} $
Solution:

$ \begin{eqnarray*} & & \frac{x^2 + 2xy + y^2}{x+y} \cdot \frac{x - y}{4} \\ &=& \frac{(x+y)^2}{x+y} \cdot \frac{x - y}{4} \\ &=& (x+y) \cdot \frac{x - y}{4} \\ &=& \frac{(x+y)(x-y)}{4} \end{eqnarray*} $
